Junior Sustainability Strategy Consultant

As a Junior Sustainability Strategy Consultant at The Terrace you will be working in our Sustainability Strategy & Implementation team. Within the team, you will contribute to developing sustainability strategies and initiatives for our clients from a wide range of sectors, and work together with our AI Lead on further integrating Artificial Intelligence in our services.

Your tasks

As a Junior Sustainability Strategy Consultant, you will support our Sustainability Strategy & Implementation team with:

• A wide variety of inspiring projects at our clients, which include ESG strategies, B Corp and Ecovadis certifications, and CSRD compliance.

• Unique sustainability assessments for our clients, including double materiality assessments, nature assessments and human rights assessments.

• The implementation of new sustainability initiatives, policies and procedures at our clients.

• The integration of Artificial Intelligence in our sustainability services.

Your qualifications

• You just finished your studies (preferably a master’s degree) in the field of sustainability, business, management, or international relations.

• You have a strong interest in and passion for sustainability.

• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to make the complex simple.

• You have a pro-active mentality and are not afraid to speak your mind and share your ideas to most effectively support our clients.

• You like to work on different projects simultaneously and can easily switch between them.

• You take responsibility to get to the bottom of complex matters.

• You work well both independently and in teams.

• You are experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

• You are fluent in Dutch (native writing and speaking level) and English.

• You have an interest in AI.

• A contract for 32 hours per week.

• A market conform salary based on experience, with 28 holiday days (based on 40 hours per week) and a pension plan.

• You preferably work from our office in Amsterdam a couple of days per week, but we also accommodate flex-time schedules and telecommuting.
