Who are we
The Terrace is a certified B Corporation and we see business as a force for good. We combine extensive knowledge of complex sustainability challenges with the talent to translate that into meaningful strategies, implementation and communication. We support brands in driving positive change in their organisation and sector.
We believe companies are the best levers for positive change and we help them with this transformation. This doesn’t happen overnight; often we collaborate with clients for long periods of time. Basically, everything we do revolves around one central question: "What is the most beautiful thing your brand/organisation can do?" With this question in mind, we create value for the planet, society and our clients.
The Terrace has experience with clients in a wide range of sectors, but has a focus on food & agriculture, retail, the energy transition, and the circular economy. In the last 17 years, we have worked for more than 175 clients, ranging from large international companies and social enterprises to NGOs and the Dutch government. We are proud to contribute to positive change with stakeholders such as Albert Heijn, ASICS, bol., A.S. Watson, Intergamma, The Social Hub, PEFC, a.s.r., ActionAid, and many others.
Good to know
We offer a market conform salary based on experience with 28 holiday days (based on 40 hours per week).
You work from our office in Amsterdam a couple of days per week, but we also accommodate flex-time schedules and telecommuting.
We have a fun, informal working atmosphere in a dynamic organisation that works with the brightest people in their fields.
We regularly offer traineeship positions for 6 months to candidates who have completed their master's.
