Are you a creative mind with a passion for content creation and sustainability? And are you ready to kick-start your career in sustainability communications? Then you might be our new trainee!
As a communications trainee at The Terrace you will be working on the marketing & communication of The Terrace and support in developing communications strategies for our clients from a wide range of sectors.
The Trainee period at The Terrace is for 6 months, 32 hours per week (negotiable).
As a trainee, you will support our communications team with:
… the development of communication strategies for clients.
… the creation of content for clients.
… our own marketing & communication by developing content for our social media, newsletter, and website.
You just finished your studies (WO or HBO, with preferably a master’s degree) or are in the last phase of your studies in the field of (online) marketing, communications, or advertising.
You are fluent in Dutch (native writing and speaking level) and English.
You love writing and dependent of the client you can adapt your tone and style for blogs, social posts, and everything in between.
You’re digitally native: social media, SEO, SEA, newsletters, websites — you know - or want to know more - about it.
Experience with tools like WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot or InDesign is a big plus.
You have a strong interest in and passion for sustainability.
You have a pro-active mentality and are not afraid to speak your mind and share your ideas to most effectively support our clients.
You like to work on different projects simultaneously and can easily switch between them.Our team fosters an entrepreneurial spirit and offers you the flexibility to pursue your own ideas beyond your project work, wherever you spot potential.
Work experience in a dynamic work field where you can create a positive impact.
Communications consulting experience: you will work on sustainability communications assignments during the trainee period.

If you’re not convinced yet: we offer a good compensation for the traineeship with intention to offer you a junior contract afterwards.
